The Bible's Canon: Authoritative or Arbitrary?

Nick Perrin investigates how the New Testament books came to be accepted into the Biblical 'canon'. Through an examination of the views of various Biblical scholars on the formation of the canon, Nick identifies three key assumptions that are often made about the New Testament writings and canon and shows them to be unfounded. Nick defends the New Testament canon and shows that there is good reason to trust it as authoritative.
