The Reasonable Faith Tour
with William Lane Craig
October 2011

Sponsored by UCCF, Premier Christian Radio and Damaris

In October 2011, William Lane Craig, arguably the world's leading Christian academic apologist, will once again visit the UK for a series of lectures and debates. Following his highly successful Reasonable Faith Tour in 2007, Bill will again present the case for the truth of the Christian faith, responding both to Stephen Hawking's recent book The Grand Design as well as to Richard Dawkins' The God Delusion, which will then have just seen its 5 year publication anniversary.

Bill will be engaging in a number of debates with well known atheists, but unfortunately Richard Dawkins has so far declined to enter the fray. Dawkins' fellow atheist Sam Harris debated Craig on 7th April 2011 and in his opening statement declared that Dr Craig is “the one Christian apologist who seems to have put the fear of God into many of my fellow atheists”. One atheist Oxford philosophy lecturer has stated in a letter to Dawkins that his refusal to debate Craig is "apt to be interpreted as cowardice".

On Saturday 22nd October, Bill will give the opening and closing lectures at the First Bethinking National Apologetics Day Conference, held in London. Opening and closing lectures from William Lane Craig. Further lectures from Gary Habermas, John Lennox and Peter J. Williams.

"Why isn’t there more of this kind of thing being preached from church pulpits?  If there were, I’d go more often and I’d stay awake during the sermon!" - Comment from a self-confessed irregular churchgoer during the 2007 Reasonable Faith Tour.
