I.  Jonah was out of touch with his surroundings

      A. Jonah’s reluctance toward the people of Ninevah

      B. Jonah’s resistance to God’s call to “Arise, go, and cry”

II.  Jonah was out of touch with God’s message

     A. God’s mercy can change the most resistant heart

III. Jonah was in touch with his own comfort

      A. God sometimes calls us to move into arenas of discomfort
