You Only Live Once (if then): Shopping for Our Selves in the Global Supermarket

In a talk given at The Veritas Forum at the University of Virginia in March 2009, Dr Os Guiness considers the different ways that people seek purpose and identity, and concludes that answering the call of our Creator is the path that leads to true purpose and identity.

"You can get all As and still flunk life!"

"Calling is living before one audience – the audience of one."

"In a fallen world, morality is often accountability through visibility…. But what happens when nobody sees?

"Character is what you do when no-one sees – but God."

The talk lasts for about 50 minutes, and is followed by a Q&A session of about 25 minutes.
