24 June 2010 - 30 June 2010
Wayne Grudem
Does ‘political’ involvement distract from the gospel?
See christian.org.uk/grudemtour
Wayne Grudem will tour with The Christian Institute to encourage biblical thinking about why and how Christians should speak out on ‘political’ issues.
Hear the best-selling author of Systematic Theology unpack questions like:
Why speak out when the real problem is people’s hearts?
Does political engagement risk a social gospel that drifts away from the good news about Jesus?
What are the limits on religion in politics?
What practical action can Christians take?
Free entry.
Stuart Townend, writer of In Christ Alone, will lead worship at the event in Peterborough on 29 June and in Chessington on 30 June.
