Tough Questions of Our Time:
Basingstoke Science / Faith Seminars
Last year, the first series of Basingstoke Science / Faith Seminars were held. The second series examines 'Tough Questions of Our Time'. The speakers, all prominent in their fields, will discuss practical issues from a Christian perspective. The series will conclude with a debate between Rev David Robertson (author of The Dawkins Letters) and Dr Julian Baggini (author of Atheism: A Very Short Introduction). See below for the speaker and titles of each talk.
The talks will be held at St Marys Centre, Goat Lane, Eastrop, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG21 7PZ ENGLAND. Each talk starts at 8:00pm and will end at 10:00pm. This includes a refreshments break, and a question and answer session.
Tickets cost £5 for each talk, including refreshments (concessions £2). Tickets for all six talks cost £25 (concessions £10). (Concessions include students, over 60s, unwaged).
